Dr. Syed Abbas Raza honored with a prestigious 2025 Laureate Award

We are excited to share that former ISE President, Dr. Syed Abbas Raza, has been selected by the Endocrine Society as one of the winners of the prestigious 2025 Laureate Awards, joining 13 other leading endocrinologists in receiving this top honor in the field. Since 1944, the Laureate Awards of the Endocrine Society recognize the most significant achievements in endocrinology, including pioneering research and advancements in clinical care.

Dr. Raza has been honored with the International Excellence in Endocrinology Award for his outstanding contributions in regions with limited resources for hormone health research, education, clinical practice, or administration. He is celebrated for his dedication to educating the public and healthcare providers on the prevention and treatment of diabetes and obesity. Additionally, Dr. Raza leads several initiatives aimed at raising awareness about obesity and promoting healthier lifestyles among youth in the South Asian region.
