Thank you for joining us at the 20th International Congress of Endocrinology, ICE 2022
For the twentieth time ISE was delighted to welcome and gather the international endocrinology community at the International Congress of Endocrinology which this year was held virtually from 25th to 28th of August. Although we missed seeing each other in person we were happy to have the chance to meet our colleagues on-line and share the latest advancements in the field with each other.
ICE was organized and held in collaboration with our valuable member, the Endocrinology and Metabolic Society of Singapore (EMSS) and partners AFES (ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies) and FESAO (Federation of Endocrine Societies of Asia and Oceania). The Program Organizing Committee, led by Ken Ho (ISE, Australia) and Melvin Leow (EMSS, Singapore) spared no effort in building an outstanding scientific program split over 12 themes that during the four days featured more than 100 speakers from around the world who also joined live for Q&A sessions to discuss further insights and answer all delegates’ questions.
Program and Workshops
In addition to the scientific program, ISE organized two bespoke workshops – the ISE Early Career workshop and the FINE workshop in collaboration with the Federation of International Nurses in Endocrinology. As part of ISE’s efforts to support Early Career endocrinologists around the world, the Early Career workshop focussed on the topics of Leadership, communication and resilience and Mentorship, networking and international collaboration. The FINE workshop covered a variety of subjects relevant to the community of nurses in endocrinology and engaged all participants in a discussion with the faculty of seven regional and international nurses.
Delegates also enjoyed the AFES Cultural Night which featured a friendly competition between countries from the region that all presented their national society and amazed the audience with beautiful local performances.
