Endocrinology meets Nephrology – new partnership between ISE and ISN (International Society of Nephrology)
We are happy to announce that in 2020 despite all challenges ISE continues to work on expanding its partnership network. As of May ISE has added a new valuable partner to its global network – the International Society of Nephrology (ISN).
Who is ISN?
The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) is a not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing worldwide kidney health. ISN strives to bridge the gaps of available care through advocacy and collaborations with its global partners; to build capacity with healthcare professionals via granting programs, education and research opportunities and to connect communities in order to develop a stronger understanding of how to manage kidney diseases and engage in a collaborative effort to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Programs and Activities
ISN is committed to build capacity for kidney care around the world, through research, education and advocacy. ISN has developed many programs and activities for its members hand in hand with a number of partner organizations. To find out more about ISN programs visit https://www.theisn.org/programs
Apart from the ISN Programs, the society has developed the ISN Academy – the official eLearning portal with more than 8,000 educational and interactive resources by topic, speaker, event, and content type, including video presentations, cases, articles, webinars, guidelines and more.
How ISE and ISN will cooperate in the future?
The two societies will collaborate to improve and expand the quality and quantity of online educational content and utilize their global reach to provide exposure to the most up-to-date, cutting-edge educational materials in the fields of endocrinology and nephrology.
Mutual efforts will be put to create and promote trainings, guidelines and courses and curricula related to endocrinology and kidney disease management worldwide.
