Endocrine society of India celebrates its 50th Anniversary

Endocrine society of India (ESI) was founded in Mangalore, India on 10th Jan 1971 with 10 members and Dr. Hari Vaishnav was the founder president of ESI. In the last 50 years, ESI has grown significantly with around 1000 members currently. ESI is proud to have strong bonding and collaboration with ISE (International Society of Endocrinology), SAFES (South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies) and many other international endocrine societies.

To commemorate its 50th birthday, ESI is organizing live birthday celebrations across India and abroad involving the current members on 10th Jan 2021. This will be followed by a glimpse into the history of ESI as shared by all the past presidents of the society and a panel discussion about the future of Endocrinology. The distinguished panel consists of leaders from ESI, ISE and SAFES, who are going to deliberate on mutually beneficial collaborative educational activities and promotion of endocrinology.

If you would like to join the virtual session on 10th January you can register here.

ESI’s celebration will be followed by the Endocrine Awareness week (12-16 January) for which you can learn more about at ESI’s Twitter page.
