Vivien Lim is the Immediate Past President of the Asean Federation of Endocrine Societies.
She held the post of the President of the Endocrine Metabolic Society of Singapore (EMSS) from 2016 to 2018 and is currently the Immediate Past President of the EMSS.
She was the Hon Secretary of the Osteoporosis Society of Singapore (OSS) from 2016 to 2018 and remains in the executive committee of the OSS.
She has organised several regional endocrine conferences in Singapore and was the Chairperson of the ICE/AFES/AOCE in 2022 in Singapore.
She had also been the Peer Coordinator of Doctors Without Borders (Medicins Sans Frontieres) in Singapore.
She works currently in the Gleneagles Medical Centre in Singapore where she sees patients with general endocrinology.
Her personal interests are in osteoporosis as well as obesity with its myriad metabolic complications and diabetes.
