Executive Director (non-Voting) – Netherlands
Helen comes with more than 20 years international experience in Association Management.
With a bachelor degree in Hospitality Management from the Hotelschool The Hague in The Netherlands, she started her career in 1996 at the Hilton International sales office in Brussels, focussing on the association congress market. From there she joined MCI in 1999 and since then has managed an array of non-profit client organisations (both business as well as healthcare associations), global teams and operational processes expanding her experience from Brussels to Singapore, Mumbai and Dubai.
Her successful track-record shows a thorough understanding of business planning, operations along with account management and stakeholder relations for start-up and globally expanding membership organisations.
In 2017 Helen took up the position of Operations Director at YPO, leading the networks organisation of young entrepreneurs.
Helen recently moved to Amsterdam, and joins ISE as the new Executive Director, working hand in hand with the Executive Committee leading the strategy and operations for the worldwide advancement of education, science and patient care in Endocrinology.
With profound business acumen as well as analytic and organisational talent, she focus on results. Her strong sense for team dynamics and the ability to manage complex and political projects, lead to successful ventures.
