The ISE works with its member societies to hold a two yearly ISE-affiliated meeting in rotation between its Member Societies in Asia/Oceania, Europe/Africa and The Americas. Argentina Federation of Societies of Endocrinology, Termas de Rio Hondo 5-8 Oct

Society for Endocrinology Annual Conference, Brighton 7-9 Nov

Inline with our global mission, priority will be given to activities throughout the developing world and specifically in countries and regions most in need of support. The 17th International Congress of Endocrinology was held jointly with the 15th Chinese Society of Endocrinology Annual Meeting in Beijing, China 31 Aug - 4 Sep 2016. More than 6000 endocrinologists from 76 countries gathered for four days of outstanding endocrine education and exchange within the stunning backdrop of Beijing's impressive Olympic Park. Worldwide advances and discoveries in endocrinology were showcased through a rich and diverse program which covered the breadth of endocrine science spanning basic, clinical & practice. A truly unique and inspiring ICE meeting, the first ever to have taken place in China.
The 14th International Congress of Endocrinology (ICE 2010) was held in Kyoto, Japan on 26-30 March 2010. ICE 2010 Kyoto the first new style of ICE under the new statutes of the ISE. The host society, the Japan Endocrine Society organised an outstanding congress that brought together over 5,000 leading endocrinologists from around the world and showcased the latest in scientific findings related to the field of endocrinology across the globe. The 42nd Congress of the Hellenic Endocrine Society with international participation took place 6 – 10 May 2015 at Makedonia Palace Hotel, in Thessaloniki, Greece. The Congress was held under the auspices of the International Society of Endocrinology, the European Society of Endocrinology and Endocrine Society and welcomed 800 participants, including 13 eminent speakers from both Europe and USA and more than 155 scientific abstracts were submitted, all contributing to a highly successful meeting packed full of high quality scientific exchange. The Hellenic Endocrine Society celebrated their 50th anniversary with a special ceremony to commemorate their Golden Jubilee!
IIn support of the Society for Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes of South Africa (SEMDSA) Annual meeting in 2014, ISE delivered an Osteoporosis/Hyperparathyroidism symposium, featuring world renowned experts; Prof. Robert Josse and Prof. Roger Bouillon. Congratulations to the following young investigators from other parts of Africa who received ISE travel awards to enable them to present their latest research at this noteworthy congress: Dr Kelvin Leshabari, Dr Boniface Mphumuhila, Dr Digna Narciss, Dr Ofem Enang and Mrs Elizabeth Kitiku.
To promote the cooperation and friendship between our members in the Latin American endocrine community ISE supported the Mexican Society of Nutrition and Endocrinology Meeting held in Cancun, Mexico on 12-15 November 2013.

The 1st Annual Meeting of Endocrinology Endocrine and Metabolism Metabolic Society of Ghana (EMSG) - December 2009
A trip to Ghana by two of our Executive Committee Members, Paul Stewart (Secretary Treasurer) and Xavier Bertagna, saw the launch of EMSG. The meeting took place at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons - an impressively large and modern building within the city of Accra. The meeting was a huge success in raising the profile of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism across Ghana and establishing new initiatives.
